Mark your calendar for the ninth annual RN Symposium, “Nurses, Leading with Hearts and Minds,” a day of sharing knowledge about industry trends and how they are affecting your job. The symposium will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge. This year the RN Labor Management Initiatives (RNLMI) is thrilled to have an innovative nurse leader as our keynote, David Zambrana, PhDc, DNP, MBA, RN, Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The afternoon breakout sessions will provide deep dives into Value Based Payment, successful collaborations between healthcare and non-healthcare organizations, and more on leading for the future.
As in the past, the symposium will also include a poster session focused on research and innovation in healthcare. Each 1199SEIU Healthcare Workers East healthcare system will have an opportunity to submit two posters for presentation and publication in the Symposium Journal.
