This summer and fall, you can catch LMP staff on the road sharing the results of our work at four national conferences.
In August, Assistant Director, Nursing Homes Janice Dabney and consultant to the LMP Lois Schram will share their expertise on how to reduce violence in nursing homes at the Pioneer Network Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. This gathering is the nation’s largest national conference dedicated to culture change and person-centered care/person-directed living.
In early October, Consultants Mavis Flowers and Mike Shay will discuss how to manage conflict from an interest based perspective at the Organizational Development Network Annual Conference taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. This conference brings together expert practitioners and leading academics to address the specific and relevant needs of Organizational Development professionals.
During the American Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting and Exposition in Denver, Colorado, the LMP’s Research and Workplace Wellness teams—Marcia Mayfield, Latisha Thomas, Sonali Das, Chris Pernell and Kemmely Mondell—will present on a survey of workplace wellness programs for hospital workers in the Metro New York area. This event, which will take place in late October, will bring together more than 12,000 health professionals from across the United States and around the world to network, educate and share experiences.
In late October, Consultant Robert DeLauro will discuss cultural competency for health care providers at the Planetree International Conference on Patient-Centered Care in Chicago, Illinois. This annual event brings together professionals to discuss trends and strategies in healthcare.
