The Labor Management Project’s research department, the team that brings you the stories in this news section, gained a new member last month with the addition of Research Analyst Sonali Das. Sonali brings expertise in qualitative and quantitative research and strategic planning gained over the course of 15 years in the pharmaceutical advertising and marketing industry, where she helped develop materials aimed at enabling physicians to better meet patient needs. She has also worked as a clinical social worker, counseling adults with mental illness and substance use disorders in outpatient clinic settings and helping homeless adults access housing and health services.

The RN Labor Management Initiative (RNLMI) also gained a new staff member, Project Coordinator Derrain Anthony. Derrain brings over 10 years of experience in project and program management to the RNLMI, where he provides project management and logistical support for complex and intricate projects. Prior to joining the RNLMI, Derrain was a client services manager at Interaction Associates and a consulting services analyst at Global Novations. He was also a program manager at Citizens Energy, where he found cost savings of $762,000 in the call center‘s budget for the Oil Heat Program, which was used to offset administrative and program costs and provide additional support to families in need of free home heating oil.
