On Friday, May 5, at Manhattan’s Grand Hyatt, 1199SEIU registered nurses (RNs) and RN managers will be honored during the 14th Annual Nurse of Distinction (NOD) Awards Gala. This year’s event will pay tribute to 63 RNs from hospitals and nursing homes throughout New York City and State. The festivities will include a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing for all honorees and their guests.
As the nurses prepare for their special day, Partnership Matters interviewed several nominees—including Angela Paladino and KaShun Mathew Poon, pictured above—about their career paths and dreams for the future. You can read about them, and some of last year’s nominees, here.
