On July 19, the Beryl Institute will present a free webinar, “So You’re the New Patient Experience Leader, Now What?” for those who oversee patient experience in health care settings.

 

An online toolkit from The Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality, Communication and Optimal Resolution (CANDOR), helps hospitals respond to instances of patient harm in a timely and thorough way. The CANDOR process was tested and applied in 14 hospitals.

 

The United Hospital Fund is hosting its annual Medicaid conference on July 14. This year’s conference, Medicaid in New York: Progressing to Value-Based Payment, focuses on the development of delivery and payment systems that reward value instead of volume. The American Hospital Association is hosting a free webinar, “Creating Effective Community Partnerships to Build a Culture of Health,” to present findings from interviews with hospital leaders and community leaders on June 28.

 

The Relational Coordination Research Collaborative helps organizations improve performance by building shared goals, shared knowledge and mutual respect across boundaries. Once a year, the RCRC brings together researchers and practitioners to explore how relational coordination improves performance outcomes in many sectors.
